Terms of Use

Who we are
Downtown St. Paul (dtstpaul.com) is an independent, resident-run site. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the Saint Paul Downtown Alliance or any business-improvement district. We do not reproduce their trademarks or marks.
What the site does today
In this phase the site offers editorial information, a curated business directory, navigation links, an opt-in newsletter, and a public event submission form (/now/submit). There are no user accounts or reviews; if those are ever added, these terms will be updated before launch.
Newsletter
Our newsletter is double opt-in and you can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your data.
Event submissions
You may submit a downtown event for consideration via /now/submit. By submitting:
- Review & editorial discretion. All submissions are reviewed before publication. We publish events at our sole discretion and make no guarantee of publication.
- License to publish. You grant Downtown St. Paul a non-exclusive, royalty-free right to publish and lightly edit your submission (e.g., for clarity, length, or formatting).
- Prohibited content. Submissions must not be false or misleading, infringe any third-party rights, or promote illegal activity. We will reject or remove submissions that violate this policy.
- No compensation. Submission is voluntary and unpaid.
Accuracy & no warranty
We work to keep information fresh, but downtown facts change. Information is provided “as is” without warranty. Verify time-sensitive details (hours, closures, events) before you rely on them.
Business & map data
Business names, locations, and hours displayed on the Directory and Now pages are sourced from OpenStreetMap and made available under the Open Database License (ODbL). OpenStreetMap is © its contributors. Use of this data is subject to the ODbL; see openstreetmap.org/copyright for full attribution requirements.
Third-party links
We link out to other sites and services; we are not responsible for their content or practices.
